I have found the 1881 entry but Alexander is not in household - Jessie is shown as a shepherds wife and family were in Aberdeen

thanks that's a new one as the census was in April 1891

Hi all ,

Family possibly moved to Rathven , Banff(shire) by 1901 which might tie in with this SP death -
Alexander Coope(as much as can be entered) Ewen 1940 Grange Banff , born c1851.
