Thanks for the tips. A user with the username Brixham requested info on Mary Ann Matthews who married William Hedges in 1971 in Aldershot, Hants- lots of folk gave Brixham much the same info that we have - just cant contact Brixham yet to confirm and share family history.

Yes it is regarding Matthews/Hedges in Hampshire which Brixham was also tracing, It is all part of the same family I was a Williams and would like to,contact Brixham as we maybe able to share what knowledge we have regarding the elusive Ann Matthews

Long time since I have thought of Ann Mathews who married William hedges in 1871 in aldershot they were my great grandparents but little is know of their life. I believe William was born in arlesford in Hampshire and Ann also,know as Mary Ann was born in Farnham.  They had two,daughters one of which was my grandmother Alice maud mary Williams formally Hedges. Sadly their other daughter who,I think was called Eliza died in Aldershot around 1873. After this date I found them living in Exeter in Devon.  I have tried finding William with the royal artillery with out any luck.  So any help would be wonderful.
