Message box full message

Hi
How many messages can you retain in your in box please - is there a maximum? 
I ask because someone is saying they are unable to send me one because they get "in box full" message.
This has happened a few times now and each time I whittle as many out as I can.  I am down to 3 pages and the person is still getting the "in box full" message but I've had many more pages than that before and have still received more.

Do you think there is a problem tother end?

If the other person hasn't reached the required number of posts to allow them to use the PM system they will get that message when they try to send a PM.

The person has done several posts and messages before so it can't be that thank you anyway.

There is no maximum number to the amount of messages you can store (inbox/outbox) under the PM service.

Normally, Falkryn's comments for new members seems to be the main reason for that message (ie if you try to PM a new member with 1-3 posts).

If that is not the case, from what you say, you may need to send a PM to Trystan or Sarah and see what they can find out as to what may be the issue.

PS: I am now good...after many years...and have cleared out my in/out boxes to a minimum

Amy, you need 2/3 posts on the main forums before your PM service is activated.
