Photo Enlargement

Why is it that people are having difficulties enlarging this photo,it like as if its in permanent inset mode.lol

Thanks Malky,what I was trying to do with it is for the photo itself to "fill the box" rather than also including the white surrounds.

What exactly are you wanting,  please?

It is only about 9kb. Enlarging it will just break it up into bigger and bigger blocks (pixels). See attached.

 You need to re-scan it to get it larger - what size is the original?

To make it possible to enlarge your photo the original should be scanned at 300 - 600 dpi
It is only 72 dpi at the moment

Thanks.Well Gadget you should know better than to ask me about sizes etc.lolIts a photo I've downloaded off a web page.The intention is to get the photo itself as I said to "fill the box" and get rid of the white surround.Obviously I don't have thee original.

Oh dear, WR, I think you might be in danger of copyright infringements   

Best check with the website that you've downloaded it from. Meanwhile, I'll remove my pixellated enlargement.

I don't really think we are in the realms of Copyright infringement here.Indeed it is merely a privately taken photo.Also it was the person who took the photo who was requesting the,enlargement.

You didn't explain very well then, WR 

Why not ask the person who took the photo to rescan the original at 300-600 dpi and then put it up
