Thomas Fitzgerald 4th Hussars-M.G.C. (Cav)

Hi all
I trying to find additional information on Thomas Fitzgerald d.o.b. 7/10/1894, 4th Hussars (9580)- M.G.C. (52551). I found his medal index card but can't find anything else. I'm trying to find where he came from in Dublin.

Are you aware that two-thirds of the WW1 records were destroyed in a WW2 bombing raid?

That may be the cause in not finding any records.

Did he survive WW1?

Thanks for your swift reply, yes I'm aware of the loss of records it's just that I'm new to this and I thought I might be missing something in my search. There is a story in this search which includes Thomas's brother Gerald who served in the 8th Hussars, both survived the war.

Was he still serving, perhaps, in 1920?
If so, his records will still be with the MOD!
