Does anyone have M.I. for Melrose,Rox.? If so,could you be so kind as to look for….
Annie Young c 1822 - June 30 1890 and her husband William Scott c-1822 - Feb 13 1903.
I am attempting verify that they "might" both be buried there and that there might be a stone.
 have all census & both death certs. Many thanks for your time.

Ajjbc    they are buried in Melrose Abbey.
"6          Top missing.      HENRY died 22.10. 1866 aged 36 years interred at Musselburgh"
"JAMES died 24.2. 1877 aged 62 years interred at London CATHERINE died"
"11.7.1885 aged 66 years WILLIAM SCOTT who died at Lilliesleaf 28.8.1904 aged 82 years ANN YOUNG wife of WILLIAM SCOTT died at Mosshouses 30.6. 1890 aged"
"65 years MINNIE SCOTT died at Yair Cottages 15.2. 1933 aged 82 years."

             Thank you so much for that info,..It real does help...It has confirmed that William Scots wife was Ann Young.Had his birth year right and death year wrong (by 1 year).Had AnnYoung death right & birth year off by 1 year.
Did not have Minnie's death date,but believe she did not marry.
Looking at the dates of James Scott who died 1877age 62,could well be a brother to William.
Henry who died in 1877 age 66 could also be a brother to William.
Looks like I will be pulling out the "plastic" and go visit "Scots People"..
