Thank You. I don't see my Aunt very often because she lives quite a distance from me but when I see her I will ask. I saw her a few weeks back and she was going to try to remember Mary's married name and call me but she hasn't called. I will try to get in touch with her and find out.

Hi, I was talking to my Great aunt today and she said she used to write to her Aunt Rose, last name was Lake. Her husbands name was Cecil Lake. They lived in Devon. Also another half sister of my Great grandfather was named Jenny and she lived in Devon too. There was a brother Jack. They were all half brother and sisters to my Great grandfather Hayes. I quizzed her about Ackland and she thought it sounded familiar but thought it might have been Jenny`s married name but wasn`t sure. I really hope this can help with my search for my Great grandmother`s married name. I am going to try on ancestry to see if anything comes up. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.
