« on: Thursday 25 September 14 19:49 BST (UK) »
Hi there I have come across a website called mayo ancesters and found the marriage of my fourth great grandparents owen boyle and Catherine conolly in 1845 south mayo but I am not a member to view all the details, they moved to England around 1850 and settled in Wolverhampton, I would really appreciate any member of the website to view the record for me, many thanks

Rootschat doesn't allow lookup requests from sites whose terms & conditions prohibit such lookups but in this case it no longer matters since the site is closed-

Civil registration of Catholic marriages began in 1864 (from 1845 for non-Catholic ones including Registry Office) so if you can't find the marriage in the civil registration index (www.familysearch.org) then it likely was Catholic and the only record will be the church record. In that case there are probably few details recorded- date, names of bride and groom and perhaps the witnesses' names.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
