1851 census Otley William Hollings
« on: Thursday 30 June 05 16:05 BST (UK) »
Looking for William Hollings born abt 1835/1836 Otley.  Have found 2 on the IGI:

William Hollings c: 04.10.1835 f: William m: Mary
William Hollings c: 03.04.1836 f: Thomas m: Mary

I believe my William is the 1836 one, 1851 census info would be great as I'm searching for any siblings of William's.

Thanks.

Hi Sarah. Hope you read this message. I am related to the Hollings family. William Hollings is my Great Great Great Grandad. His son Benjamin is the Father of my Nana Florence Hollings, who had a daughter called Marjorie Hollings - who was my Grandma. I have the Hollings Family Bible. Please contact me. Luv Lindsey, in Otley x

Hi Lindsey

Thank you for getting in touch regarding the Hollings in Otley. I do have a Benjamin Hollings and a Florence Hollings but they are not father and daughter. In my research I don't have William and Mary Hollings having a son called Benjamin. If you think we have the same family line please get in touch thank you.

regards

Sarah

Hi Sarah

Sorry I didn't realised that you had replied to my last message.

We are definitely related. Before my Mum died she did me a family history chart/information on the Hollings/Dawson family that I am related too. I have recently found all the information whilst sorting my amongst my things at home. I have all the information that would fit our jigsaw to our family history. I have all the names listed in these message threads.

My Nana Florence Hollings was the Daughter of Benjamin & Ellen Hollings.

Be lovely to hear from you.

Love Lindsey
