My Grand father above was born in America 19th March 1888 to parents Henry-America and wife Fanny  of Ash tree cottage rife Berwick. He had a brother Morris. They shifted back to England. William Claude Kennett married a Beatrice Elizabeth Mitson. He was killed in the first world war, his wife shifted to New Zealand with 2 children. Is there anyone out there that would know any information about the families either kennett or Mitson. Many thanks Jeanette

There is a passenger list in 1922 for a Mrs B Kellett age 35 going to Wellington, New Zealand from 15 Lewes Trust Buildings, Camberwell Green with children Wallace 10 & Beatrice 9.

These children would tie in with

Wallace A Kennett  (mothers maiden name    Mitson)    
Marylebone    1a   881   

Birth March qtr 1913   
Beatrice F Kennet (mmn Mitson)

These would tie in with the 1910 marriage KGarrard found

While searching I came across a query on the ancestry board where some person was asking after William Claude Kennett.

In the response was two children of his named:

Beatrice Frances Kennett, born 6 Jan 1913, Rotherhithe, London
Wallace Claude Kennett - no date given.

And  because of the similarities of the names:
A recent bereavement last year for a
Mary Beatrice Kennett WAAF W3636, passed away peacefully 2ns March 2013, in her 96th year,  . . . Elder daughter of the late Henry and Ellen Kennett
