Old Newspapers - News of the World & Kilburn Times

Hello,

A family member has asked me to try and track down a couple of articles in the news that featured their family.

One is from the News of the World sometime in the 1970s and the other is in the Kilburn Times around 1929.

I have tried the British Newspaper Archive website to no avail, as it doesn't feature these papers, so I was wondering if there was any alternative rather than having to visit Yorkshire for the Newspaper Library?

I contacted News International earlier in the year for advice on their archive and they gave me this email address to write to

informationservicesrequests@news.co.uk

They might be able to help if you can be quite specific about the date.

I've got access to the Daily Mirror Archive and can try there for you if you send more details by personal message (as it's quite recent) about the names you are looking for. You need another post to be able to use pm system.
