Still searching!

I found Harry Mount on an electoral roll in Tarver Road Bermondsey in 1906.  This address fits with known information from later years.  I can't trace him before 1906 (he is not in Tarver Road on the 1901 census)

Going on the theory that he changed his name, I have found a Harry LAWFORD, born in the same place (Codnam/Eling, Hampshire) with a father Joseph (right forename) who appears on censuses until 1901 (in 1891 he is in Millstream Road Bermondsey, and in 1901 he is in Boss Street Bermondsey).  I can't find Harry Lawford in 1911 and I can't find a death record for him after 1901.

So: where was Harry Lawford after 1901, where was Harry Mount before 1906, and could they be the same person?

Harry Lawford is in Bermondsey in 1911, says he is single aged 40, a carman. A visitor to the house is Jane Jellicoe (nee Lawford), Harry's sister.

Many thanks for this information.

That definitely rules out Harry Lawford as a possibility.

I don't know if you already have this info

Joseph Parker married Amelia Judd 1856 Southampton

1871 to follow have a whole list of siblings, assuming I am correct of course

1872 Birth of Harry 1872 South Stoneham

1878 Death of a Joseph Parker South Stoneham aged 44

So it is possible Amelia married or lived with a Mr Mount?

Just thinking  or am I way off track?

The search for Harry is moving rapidly forward on the above thread.

I am most thankful for the information on Amelia PARKER nee JUDD which I will copy across to the other thread.
