Also, My moher tells me that Esther and john james eloped,, because one of them was upper class.. and their relationship wasn't approved, so maybe they didn't marry. its a mystery
...
RE James Wilson married a Catherine b 1819 in Liverpool - firstborn Elizabeth Wilson b 1837 in Liverpool
this might be the marriage of James Wilson and Catherine - the only one I could find
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/NFXL-R5Q
this looks like the right one to me because Catherine named her firstborn Elizabeth after her mother ??
Baptism: 10 May 1818 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Catharine Hubbard - Daughter of John Hubbard & Elizth.
    Abode: Maguire St.
    Occupation: Gardiner
so Catherine was born 1818 - not 1819

if I have the right Catherine that married James Wilson
Catherines mothers name was Bewes and here are Catherines siblings

Baptism: 3 Apr 1803 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Sophia Hubbard - dau. of John Hubbard & Elizabeth (formerly Bewes), His Wife
    Born: 7 Mar 1803
    Abode: Eccles Street
    Occupation: Labourer
...............................................
Baptism: 18 Dec 1808 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Elizabeth Hubbard - Daughter of John Hubbard & Elizabeth (formerly Bives), His Wife
    Born: 17 Aug
    Abode: Maguire Street
    Occupation: Gardener
...................................................
Baptism: 16 Feb 1812 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
George Hubbard - Son of John Hubbard & His Wife Elizabeth (formerly Bews)
    Born: 13 Jan 1812
    Abode: Maguire St
    Occupation: Gardener
...............................................
Baptism: 28 Nov 1813 St Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Robert Hubbard - Son of John Hubbard & Elizabeth
    Abode: Maguire St
    Occupation: Labourer
...............................................
Baptism: 7 Jan 1816 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Charles Hubbard - Son of John Hubbard & Elizabeth
    Abode: Maguire St.
    Occupation: Labourer
..............................................
Baptism: 10 May 1818 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Catharine Hubbard - Daughter of John Hubbard & Elizth.
    Abode: Maguire St.
    Occupation: Gardiner
.............................................
Baptism: 23 Apr 1820 St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England
Mary Anne Hubbard - Daughter of John Hubbard & Elizth.
    Abode: Maguire St.
    Occupation: Gardener

swaps from Gardener to Labourer frequently - but Maguire st each time except for firstborn Sophia who is Eccles Street

I can`t find a marriage in England for John Wilson to Elizabeth Bewes ??
maybe Scottish or Irish ??

Was her father John Henry Oldfield? If so the family are together in the 1911 census, but we are not allowed to give details here.
