You're very welcome, pleased to have helped unravel the mystery of the second partner. John J Dodds and Emily Dodds were brother and sister - John J Dodds married Elizabeth Ann Spark and Emily married John Henry Oldfield.  After Emily died John Henry Dodds got together with his sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Spark/Dodds (previously the wife of his brother-in-law)  This is why there may have been no marriage between John Henry Oldfield and Elizabetgh Ann Spark/Dodds because her husband (John J Dodds) was still living and described as married in 1911

Pleased to hear your getting your head round it all, took me a while to unravel but it was the children in 1901 and 1911 that didn't tally................
