Mary flynn , Cappoquin Waterford & Loughborough, Leicestershire

Hi, I'm looking for any information on Mary Flynn born 1890 possibly (Cappoquin) Waterford . In the 1911English census Mary Flynn 23yrs & a Frank Ball 25yrs were working at a farm in Barrow upon soar , who (i hope) went on to marry on 8Th of Feb 1919 in Loughborough .on the marridge cert Has a William Flynn as Marys father. Mary & Frank  went on to have 3 children, Alfred , Lillian & George Ball who was my wife's grandfather. could really do with a link in Cappoquin, found a Flynn family on barrack st Cappoquin 1901 with a William & Mary and in the English 1911 census a Flynn family in Loughborough with a William some of the children's name seem to match up but its only guess work up to now  with thanks Mark

The two censuses look very promising. A few questions - sorry!
What is William's occupation on Mary's marriage certificate?
Were any witnesses from the family?
Have you looked for any others from 1901?

Hi Haywood thanks for the reply,no not much on the marridge cert , looked on the 1901 census there's a few Mary's ,could be any of them rearly, haven't got anything else other than the marridge cert ,don't no when she died either ,there is a Mary Ball buried in Loughborough in 1948 ,sending of for a copy of the cert but probably won't tell us much regards mark

The 1911 family of Flynns seem to disappear also

Yes so frustrating ,hardly anything to go on, the Flynns in Loughborough I've found a tree with them in it might of emigrated to America waiting on a reply tho   
All guess work at the moment might be lucky

What proof do you have that Mary was from Cappoquinn ?

IF it's SURE proof, then I recommend you ask the moderators to add this thread to the Waterford Board AS OPPOSED to starting a new one there.

That way there will be no duplication of look ups and you will get more Waterford local knowledge !

I'm just wondering, are you JUST looking at the Irish census for a Mary Flynn with a father called William.

Using a 5 year variation on her age I'm afraid there are more possibilities for Mary than you may have thought

Hi Tara,
the only proof i have is a marridge certificate ,that Mary Flynn aged 29 & Frank Ball 32 married on the 8/2/1919 in loughborough leicestershire .Mary was a domestic servant at charnwood rd, shepshed,Leicestershire. Her Father was a William Flynn general labourer .they went on to have 3 children Alfred, George & Lilian Ball, George was are grandad .after that its all educated guess work which means im in the wrong feild at the wrong time  . i found a Mary Flynn 23 & Frank Ball 25 on the 1911 English cencus working on tithe farm in Barrow upon soar Loughborough Leicestershire it had Mary coming from Cameley Waterford Ireland ,only can find cameley in somerset tho.and a Flynn Family in Loughbrough 1911 Cencus From Cappoquin .
