There is no birth reg under Pickett on freebmd in 1907

Yes it is for that period.

Your best way forward is to buy a copy of her marriage cert to see if she names a father on it.  I've looked at Violet Lily births (no surname) from 1906-1908 but there is nothing resembling a Pickett surname so I wonder if her birth was registered under another name.  If her mother then married - she may have taken her step-fathers surname

Is there any other info you can give us about her before she married that may help us to trace her?
