Alexander Walker was Mary Watson's husband, in 1861 they are both in Condorrat with Agnes age 2 and John aged 4 days, Alexander parents were John Walker and Agnes Proven, They lived in condorrat at the same time as my 4th Great grandparents William Walker and Janet Stirling , William died in 1845 so I have been unable to find his parents, I wondered if William and John were brother but have not been able to link them as yet and wondered if there was any other information about them, you also queried the word condorrat, with a scottish accent it would sound Con Durr ate, I have found a lot of miss spelling researching my family tree There was a large number of Walker living in Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, and Kilsyth, Alexander was born in Moodiesburn, these were all villages that where on the outskirts of Condorrat.
