Mary Ann May be spelt marianne.
Could someone have a look on FTP parish records 1880 to see if there is a marriage for these two please.  Radnorshire possibly as my Mary Ann was born in Clyro.  Her dad being Samuel Evans birds nest.

FreeBMD is not showing any marriage for a Charles Freeman Thorpe, between 1878 and 1885, in Radnorshire?!

By the way, what is FTP?
And what has "birds nest" got to do with anything? ??? ::)

At a guess, I would say you estimated the year of marriage from the figure on the 1911 census?

Beware!
The question asked on that census was "Complete years the present marriage has lasted".

So, it's nearly always a year before you think it is!! ;D ;D
