Carole, the informations I have are James Plume borned in England in 1764 and died in 1849. He was married to Sarah Butler (1765-1844) James William 1 Plume(1805-1876) married to Isabella Janes Scott (1818-1902) James William II Plume(1849-1919) married to Jemima Berry (?-1924) my Great-Grand father Percy-Harry Plume (1879-1932) my Grand-Father Harold-Francis Plume (?-1991)and my father Paul Plume (1940-2005). We found  relatives in New-Brunswick Canada but nobody have informations about Percy-Harry??? And I really want to find more about my family even before James and Sarah (their parents, where they were living etc..)

Looking at the many trees on Ancestry of this family, they appear to have emigrated to New Brunswick in 1840?

James William Plume (1805-1876) and Isabella had a child, Mary Jamima born in NB in 1841?

Hi Brigittep

James Plume, bachelor, married Sarah Butler, spinster, both of the parish, married 24 February 1789 by Licence at St Savious Church Southwark.

They both signed the register and the witnesses were Abraham Butler & Ann Pearson.

There is a possible baptism for James Plume son of James Plume, vinegar maker and his wife Sarah at Christ Church Southwark.

This child was baptised on September 9th, born August 13. The parish register page is badly damaged but the date I think is 1791, I had to go back several pages to find the start of the year.

This child may have been buried at the same church 11 November 1791.

There are other children born to James & Sarah who appear in the baptism register for Christ Church.

There is an partial online tree at Ancestry (the owner is ddplume) that suggests James was born in Suffolk.

Thank you to all of you! If someone find something about Edmund's parent please let me know. It is not easy for us here in Québec to found informations but with Rootschat and your help I think we will finally found a lot of things about our familly! So now we know for sure that we are English and not Irish!
