I have these details of my great granddad.  Would it be possible for me to get any more info on him, possibly through his army pension records?  If so, how would I go about getting the information?

With a common name you need to post his date and place of birth. Plus details of any children's date/place of birth you know.

He would have been in the British Army so any surviving records might be at Kew, London.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

When they went on Findmypast the National Archives ceased providing access.
