Kings Head Inn pub

Im wondering if anyone knows where the Kings Head Inn- R. E. Sutherland pub was?
The picture is from a postcard from 1925-1930.
I have got a tip from the library in Sunderland that the picture might be taken in a rural market-town in the North of England?

I am also intersted in information about Robert Edwin Sutherland. Born 1868 and died in Sunderland in 1939.

He is shown on the census has born in Jarrow, do you have any census for him, if not  I will post the details.
