I am getting confused now too. the one I am following is with Mother Mary, now remarried in 1871
1861 with Grandmother, but a William B, Widower is there also?

Seems to me he is the illegitimate Son of Mary Bury, Daug of WILLIAM/MARY Bury

There are a few threads around the Bury family as we have said.
There is also this http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=701775.0 re James Walsh who married Ellen Bury born abt 1824, daughter of Edward/Edmund.

Is this Withnell born family, a different search for another  family? Keyboard mentioned this earlier.

I wanted a look up for Edward Bury father of Ellen Bury who married James walsh, , was looking for Edwards marriage and siblings, he may of been from Withnell but i only know of him from the Darwen Area, this is so confusing to me has i was told it was Edmund and not Edward, on Ellen Bury's marriage her father was called Edward, I am so sorry if i am confusing everyone I don't mean too so I apologise  too all
This was a different search for Edward Bury.

No worries.  It can be very confusing when it is a fairly common name in a specific area.
Edward and Edmund often seem to be interchanged, especially in a transcription from census etc.

Were you thinking that Edward who married Ellen Morris was a sibling of Ellen who married James Walsh?

Yes I know that from the various threads but your first post on this thread is about Edward, with a father William and born 1849 plus his marriage in 1878.
I don't understand the connection. That is why I asked if you think he is a sibling.
