Gibraltar 1901
« on: Sunday 19 October 14 10:48 BST (UK) »
I have been trying to locate my Grandfather Edward Udall born 1873 Southampton Hampshire in the 1901 census and he might have been in Gibraltar.  Did Gibraltar take a 1901 Census, and if so how can I locate it.

Thanks
Udall  Isle of Wight/Hants?Dorset
Streeton  Croxton Kerrial, Leicestershire
Hinton Sutton Veny Wiltshire
George Pembrokeshire

You will need to select Udall from the dropdown menu.

I have been researching divers working in Gibraltar and Edward R. Udall was working at a 'Foreman Diver' on the Gibraltar Dockyard Works. I found his membership to the Masonic Lodge - Calpe Lodge No. 325, Gibraltar, which he joined in 1900, with many of his diving co-workers.

If you have managed to find him in the 1901 Gibraltar Census I would be very interested to know, as I am trying to trace many other divers in Gibraltar at that time.

Kind regards

No Udall in 1911

Choose Udall in the menu instead of (?)Z.
His wife Alice Lindsey Udall was born in Penbroke , his daughter Ethel Lavinia was born in Southampton.
