Lichfield Record Office - still open!

Although Lichfield Record Office is scheduled to close under a proposal which will bring the William Salt Library and Lichfield Record Office collections under one roof at an extended Staffordshire Record Office site, the current position is that Lichfield will remain open until at least 2018.  :D

It continues to add to its holdings: a number of new parish register transcriptions have been added recently.  (See separate post.)
