Thought there's be one for Henry's father James - he had a large write up in the paper when he died in Burrawang in late April / early May 1911 - but can't find one sadly (and his wife had died 2 years earlier).

i did find a record on the same site for their assisted passage - presumably that would only be the passenger listing which is online at ancestry anyway?

    There is a gap in the online indexes for probates from abt 1890 to abt 1927 so there well may be a probate for James which doesn't show online.   I can check the microfiche when next I am there.   Just give me the names and dates of death of any who died during that time span.

Thanks so much..... James Mackie, late April - early May 1911 Robertson (probably 29 April, newspaper of 3 May says Saturday last, buried in the Presbyterian section of the Burrawang general cemetery).

Oh no. Can’t open the pdf on my phone but that’s a shame. Guess Thomas Stewart is a more common name than Maud.

Opened them now! Definitely the right Maud, right address and daughters, but didn’t know  about a son called Tom, unless he’s a step-son. Tom was nearly 10 years older than Maud so it seemed a good guess that it was his death. Back to the search for him then.

Thanks for looking for the death notices though. I had searched extensively with Trove - amazing resource - but not found them.
