I bet someone will be able to do something for you on this rather nice but damaged photo. . . but if you want the very best results - and I am sure you do - please scan again at 300dpi minimum and post as large as you can while keeping just under 500kbs.     :)

This is tiny and doesn't do the eyes of the restorers any favours.   ;)   You are not wanting them to go blind now are you?   ;)  It is hard to work on this, when it looks like this, and worse!!

Hi Cienna, - sorry to be a bore (specially as I can't do anything about it myself!   :-\)

- but though the photo is bigger, the scan is still only 72dpi rather than 300 plus.

Do you have the original -  - are you able to rescan setting the dpi at 300.    ;) ;)

Good on you Japeflakes!    8)

Wiggy   ;)

still showing 72dpi.        :-\ ::)

I don't think we can alter that  :-\

- I think only another scan from OP can change dpi with another scan.

Not sure though - could be talking through my hat.   ;)

You are right Wiggy...but there is software out there that can increase the dpi to a point. I think this one may have been scanned through glass.
