Wilton Family Tree
« on: Wednesday 22 October 14 11:03 BST (UK) »
I am researching Robert William Wilton who is my Husbands Grandfather. He was born in London 1869 and married Linda Mary Di Villa in 1901. In 1908 he came to Australia with wife and 2 children. In 1918 he returned to England as a Munnition worker and was employed by the Australian High Commission. He left behind a wife and 3 children. His wife died in 1919 with Spanish flu aged 34. The children were abanded and Robert never returned or contacted them again. He remarried again in 1928 to Mabel Elizabeth Bardsley. I would be happy to find out where they met as I cannot find any trace in the English Electroral Rolls. He married for the second time in Bath.

Welcome to RootsChat! ;D

Robert was a Commercial Traveller in 1901, boarding with the De Villa family in Bexhill, Sussex.
In 1891, Robert was a student, born Hackney.

Shout out if you require details from the censuses.

Robert died in 1942 in Bath.
