James Rule - Dudley Union Workhouse
I have hit a brick wall on my biological great grandfather James Rule.

The records indicate that he was in and out of the Dudley Union Workhouse in the late 1890's through the early 1900's. I have traced to an entry in 1901 that indicates that he checked himself out in March of 1901 never to be heard from again. The speculation is that he may have did a vagrant on the streets of Dudley  without identification. He would therefore be buried in a paupers grave.

Any ideas on how to verify?

Is this the family in 1901:
RG13; Piece: 2844; Folio: 125; Page: 8
28 Hanley St.
Clara Rule  46
Maggie Rule  16
Maud Rule  9
Archibald Rule  8
Clara Rule  6
Carrie Rule  4
&
RG13; Piece: 2842; Folio: 94; Page: 53
19 Gee St.
James Rule  45 Bicylce maker b. Scotland
Clara Rule  41
Maggie Rule  18
Maria Rule  13
Archie Rule  11
Edith Rule  6
Caroline Rule  4
This family looks to have been enumerated twice although there's a bit of a discrepancy re. ages.

On Maggie (1902) & Maud's (1907) marriages both say father James bicycle maker.
On Maud's listed as deceased.
