George Tyler, Suffolk 1700's
« on: Saturday 25 October 14 10:38 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find out more about this ancestor.

George Tyler married Ann Herbert in 1772 in Sudbury, Suffolk, and had five of their children christened there, though they lived in Braintree, Essex.

The christenings took place in a building known as Great Meeting, Friar Street, The Little or Lower Sudbury Independent, Sudbury, Suffolk.

Two more of their children were baptized in Bocking, Essex.

Has anybody researched this man or his wife?

They appear to have been non-conformists and perhaps the meeting house in Sudbury was the nearest to their place of residence at the time?  I se the two baptisms in Bocking were the two latest ones.

Thanks for the observation, I expect it is correct.

Although I'm pleased to have gone as far back in time as this, it's addictive, and I now 'just want one more' (generation that is).
