LOOKING FOR A VILLAGE/DISTRICT CALLED BREDLOUGH
« on: Sunday 26 October 14 09:29 GMT (UK) »
Another great-grandfather, William Gunn, is shown in the 1881 Middlesex Census as being born in Bredlough. Given the surname it ought to be in Scotland, but I can't find it in a gazeteer or through e.g. Google. Anyone any thoughts? I've looked at the written census record through a magnifying glass and it still comes out as Bredlough.

Could this be their marriage:

Maybe William was with his grandparents or...........

added  -possible for John (parents are James and Mary):

Thank you to all. It's clear that William is of Bucks, not Scottish, stock. So bang goes my claim to a Gunn tartan.
