Looking For The Stearns in the UK

Hihi, I'm pretty new to this whole thing, and I'm totally stuck on my own.

I'm a 24year old Kiwi, and i would like to track down any living relatives because I really know very little about my family .

Right, so what i know is;
My Dad and my Auntie Moved to NZ with their parents when they were kids.

Dad: C Stearn, Born 1950's, Willesden, London.
Auntie: C Stearn, Born 1950's, Willesdon, London.

Grandad: Donald Arthur Stearn
Grandma: Heather J Stearn, nee Tisdale, Born 1927
               Married, 1951 Willesden

ok so that's the easy stuff, now From there it gets trickier (at least for me).

I have found out that Grandads Father was;

Arthur Stearn and He was Married to a Florence C Stearn
and I know they had a second Son by the Name of Rodney F

From there I think, Rodney was Married to a Josephina or Josephine who's last name is MacCarty or McCarthy...  But that is where my trail is cold..

I haven't even started on my Grandma's side of the family..
I know that She was a Tisdale, was born in Hendon, London and her mothers maiden name was Shields. :/

Anyway, I have no idea where to go from here..
and That sucks because My family feels so tiny atm.
Any help would be appreciated.

Arthur married Florence Rogers 1926.
I can see just 1 Arthur Stearn in the area & he was born 1886/7 Stratford Essex.
To verify if he's the right one you will need his marriage certificate.

Arthur Stearn married Florence C Rogers March quarter 1926  Orsett 4a 733.

Apart from the two children you mention, there is another possible son born June quarter 1935 in Hendon.

In 1956 Florence and Arthur were living at 25 Brampton Road Wembley. In 1959 they were living at 25 Byron Avenue Wembley. With them was the son born in 1935 and a woman also by the name of Stearn. I'm pretty sure this is his wife. I'll PM you the details as they could be alive.

Heather Tisdale's parents are Harold W Tisdale & Jane L Shields m.1921.
Can see only 1 Harold W Tisdale.Born 1900 London s. of William & Clara.
Only 1 Jane L Shields also b. 1900 Durham.
We'll see how you get on with the marriage cert. before going further.

According to an online tree (obviously would need checking) Florence's parents were Mark James Rogers 1872 – 1932 and Annie Elizabeth Bracey 1873 – 1946.
