Mary Jones daughter of Evan Jones.

Mary Jones married in October 1874 at Wrexham St Giles. She was 21 and residing  at Bedwell.
Her father is Evan Jones a collier. No Jones are witnesses.
As you can see she is vague about where she was born.
I`m having a hard time finding here before her marriage.

It looks like everyone else has had no joy  Fresh eyes needed I think.

I have now found two possibles, but still can`t confirm it.
A Mary living in the same area as she was when she married

Could this be her ?
1861 Llanfynydd

Frith is a hamlet just south of Llanfynydd, which itself is south of Treuddyn (Tryddyn). So I would suggest you concentrate your search at Ffrith. Is there anything in the 1871 census at Ffrith?

PS you helped me look for Emily Jones a while back. Well I've just found her BC and she was illegitimate, born at Llysfasi in 1866.

One of the difficulties with this particular search given past experience with the area is that it is on the very edge of the border between Denbighshire and Flintshire.Another thing to consider are the missing piece numbers of the 1861 Census,given that you have a possible sighting as a Servant in 1871.

Further to my previous reply,you are left with perhaps a rather broad search for an Evan Jones(Collier) in the area in the 1871 Census who is not perhaps visible in 1861.
