Let me rephrase that... It is Whitby!

Not sure about the choice of wallet though!

Is it possible that the wallet is a "souvenir" from WW2?

I am well aware that the swastika has been used for thousands of years as a good luck symbol, but (obviously) more recently has a different connotation?!

Thanks everyone. It is certainly Whitby. The sad thing is I only live 22 miles away and I have never seen it. The Wallet was with the photo when I got it so I do not know if they are an original item.

One last thing, can anyone put a date to the photo?

Thanks   Steve

ask the Hotel when they lost the Dutch Gable ends from the centre section, that will start to pin it down ...

Agree with AJ, I think 20's-30's is about as close as you'll get.
The Swastika was of course the symbol of the National Socialist Party well before the war.
