I am trying to trace my family..
Father was Caspar Charles Sylvesta Prakel, I   do know that he had welsh connections family in Newport wales,, also know that my father met my mother in London...Her name was Maud Mathews she was born in 1909 July 23 /24..
my father was born in 1912 September 29th
If any one could help me trace my roots it would be lovely to know more of my family

Could you please tell me if Doris Prakel was the one that went out to Africa I believe she married a Phillip O'liver if I have spelt it right..
Also Frederica I think she was married to a Fred Lovesee of Lincoln and also if I am right I think they were related to the Appleby's of Lincoln...  This is my fathers side of the family. have any one got any thing on my mother Maud Mathews, I think she did live in warkshire, at some point in her life. not too sure I am almost sure she came from Golders Green in London, her father was a painter and decorator in his own rights , also she had a brother that got kicked by a horse and died any information on any of this would be lovely please....

There are 4 Maud Matthews births registered June-Sept. 1909.None in London/Mddx. but there is one 1 Warks.
Born Nuneaton to Abraham & Eliza.
At the moment I'm not seeing a Prakel/Matthews marriage.
Doris married Phillipus Olivier & had 2 children in the UK 1938 & 39.
They're not showing up on any passenger lists so far.

That is my mothers  parents, Abraham and Eliza, mother kept every thing under wraps,, so it looks like she was not married to Casper Prakel, if you can find more of my mothers side it would be very nice thank you for all the  information you have gave me so far....
