Hi Helen

Rootschat doesn't allow public posting of details of living people.
Just non-personal stuff.

You can however talk off-line via pm (Personal Messages)

Just in case Rootschatters want to talk to you that way, you need to post a couple more times.
[ Just post 2x more messages in your thread, say "ok" in 1 and "thanks" in another  ;D ;D ]
The PM system will open up for you.

If you do ever return to Rootschat, my query to you is . . . . . do you have your birth +/- mother's details?

Regards
Ray

This is a posting from 2014 and the OP has not returned to Rootschat.

OP may have returned to Rootschat from time to time, but not signed in, just seeing if any response.

? Are you saying that we should ignore it ?

Adding helpful points to any thread also helps others searching and finding topics with titles akin "finding Birth Mother"

Not ignore it but just a warning that there might not be any response.  Some might feel it a waste of time if the OP has not responded.

NannyJan,

Frankly, I do not understand the interjection nor the reason.

I agreed with BrigidMac trying to help, so I also posted.

There may have been a reason the OP for not adding to the post in circa 2years.
Positive assistance from somewhere else.
An illness or other interruption
Straight forgetfulness  ;D in which case a reminder post from BrigidMac then I, may encourage OP to re-start / update here.

" . . .  may not be a response . . . ." ?
Isn't that the case of anything we RootsChatters attempt to follow up on?

I have seen similar postings alerting people; especially as this was the only post from HelenKL.

With only vague details in the post, I gave the general link to adoption records which could be helpful to others in a similar position. It was unclear if the details of the birth mother were known.
