Does anyone know the parents of John Howarth, born 1798 in Rochdale, lancashire.   He was married to Mary Standring.

There is a christening 29th December 1798  St. Chads, Rochdale

John Howorth   Parents Robert Howorth and Mary

The spelling is per the transcription as seen on:-

www.familysearch.org

He was married St. Chads the spelling is also Howorth.

I was going to advise caution as there are 3 other John Howarths marrying at Rochdale around 1823, (according to FreeReg) however as the groom's occ is weaver in Mary Standring marriage, I guess it's a good guess that his father may have been a weaver?
