That's interesting but I looked on the merchant navy master mariner records and if he was a master mariner as we've been told he would be on them but he's not lol xx

I've found a record for him listed as 1st officer in London (UK Census) when he was 23. I can post the details later.

I copied and pasted from his ancestry Tree in my family tree, I saw the original Doc yesterday but it wants me to pay for it today!(I'm not fully signed up to Ancestry) hope this helps. Thank you very much for taking the trouble to send this too me.. We know all there is to know when he met and married my grt grt grandmother and after but he's been hard to pin down before that.. This gives me more to go on so a big thank you xxxx

I would really appreciate anything you have after he married your great,great, great grandmother as they are mine as well! They are my Paternal Grandmothers ascendents.

They were my 2nd great grandparents and he married my ancestor Susannah hatt in the Medway...they had 7 children in 8 years .. The youngest being my grt grandmother.
He died in his 40s from carcinoma of the lungs..I also have a copy of his letters of administration .xx

What were the Children's names, if it the right Peter Julius Jensen, one of his son's is Peter Jensen, my Great, Great, Grandfather. They lived in Rotherhithe, London.

Yes his youngest sister was Hilda who was my relative and they did in and around rotherhithe.
Think there was a Frederick but might have to go and have a look at my records..
