Oldham burials

My family is called Whitehead and lived in Oldham.
In 1909, 4 members of the family died James age 18, Ada age 21, Jane age 25 and Florrie age 16.
I am unable to find their burial place and as I know they were not rich am wondering if there was some sort of epidemic resulting in communal graves being used - or is this a ridiculous idea?

Their death certs will give cause of death. Also where they were living, so you can look for churchyards/cementeries in that locality.

Their richness/poorness shouldnt affect where they are buried, but if they were not well off there probably wont be a headstone.

If a number of members of the same family all died about the same time from a disease, then it was usually due to the very poor living conditions, usually all the family living in one room.
