William James & Elizabeth Llewhelling
« on: Thursday 06 November 14 15:19 GMT (UK) »
I have just found Elizabeth Llewhelling ( Narberth ) m William James 1807 ( Moncton sic - Monkton?)

Llewhelling definatley has a "g" on the end from the marriage record

I have only just found William, but fairly sure he's my 4xG grandfather

Does anybody have any evidence details of either William or Elizabeth ?

thanks in advance, Geoff Williams

Have you found them in 1841 census. HO107/1448/18 - pg8

There is a family living in Narberth then (without the G on the end)

William - 60
Elizabeth - 60
Margaret - 25
Elizabeth - 20
John - 20

David,

thanks for the link. The family name should be James.

By 1851, he is widowed, and his daughter, Mary Hill is living with him ( + her family )

Sorry i should really have read it properly!  ???

He presumably is the William James that is on the same page as Mary and family in 1841 census living in CastleMartin, no Elizabeth there then so would assume she died before then?

HO107/1443/3 pg 3

Maybe she is buried in CastleMartin, did Mary and her husband marry there?
