Londonderry street location

I just started researching my family roots. My grandfather was baptized at st Eugene's in 1887. Address of 12 rock. londonderry, ire. His older brother was baptized at st Eugene's in 1879. His address was posted as Harvey street. I can find Harvey street but not rock. I was hoping to figure out a school that they possibly attended. Maybe there were other siblings. None of the census show the family. Any thoughts out there?

Since that earlier thread new resources have come online, including the Valuation Revision Books which start from the printed version of Griffith's Valuation and continue until about 1930.

I've had trouble tracking family in the city in those records even with exact addresses but it's worth having a look.

If you post the names of the parents, children you've found and any other details you have we might be able to help with information or suggest where you can search next.
