Lailey History
« on: Thursday 13 November 14 11:01 GMT (UK) »
Hello- I'm new to this forum. I'm looking to find information about my family. My father was Leslie Arthur Lailey ( born 1933) and his father was Alfred Lailey. My dad had a sister (*) who emigrated to Australia in the 1960's. Unfortunately we have lost contact with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Kevin

I would like to inform members of the Lailey Family who knew my father that Leslie Arthur Lailey passed away on 1/11/14 aged 81.

If you type her name into the search box here, you will see details of their immigration and their children's full names http://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/SearchNRetrieve/Interface/SearchScreens/BasicSearch.aspx

They departed UK on 11 May 1962 on Strathmore

The white pages http://www.whitepages.com.au/  gives a possible address for son.  Click on residential and then enter the name and  Victoria for location.  Only one entry with both initials correct,

regards
   Ros

Rootschat does not permit the naming and identifying of living people on the public board.

Your request, unfortunately is probably not  in compliance with this guideline.

It is likely a moderator will edit it and request that further information be exchanged by the Private Message system of Rootschat.

In Australia where your couple immigrated, there are very strict privacy laws.

I am happy to send by Private Message some information from the Australian Electoral Rolls if of interest and I will continue to" look about" for the family.

Sue
