The Canada Voters List has entries for Alfred Hartley and Mrs. Ann Hartley on Winona Drive from 1965 to 1974. He listed sometimes as a security guard and others as just a guard. I'm trying to see if I can find an obituary but no luck so far.

Good one jacquie ...
Sandy...Not sure what is was this morn, but sounds about right as it is now -11°  with the wind chill at -4°c. right now but that is in Celcius (12.2°F  and -4°C = 24.8°F) ...... -15°c is 5° fahrenheit.
Jacquie can confirm that might be considered practically balmy for this time of year...hehe

Other years Nov 24... https://weather.gc.ca/almanac/almanac_e.html?id=5023222

... her aunt who lived in Canada was Mrs Mossley in Northnumberland Street Toronto...

I can't find any obits either!!!

1921 census has George and Julia Anna Mosley at 72 Northumberland.  Mrs Mosley is 39, born in Ireland.  Her husband is English.  They came to Canada in 1904.  Their children are William Wallace Mosley 12, Dorothea Mosley 10 and Diana Mosley 5.  There is a Bert "Fergerson" boarding with them... he is 21 and born in Ireland.  He came to Canada in 1919.  Is he one of yours???

Just looking for other avenues to explore...

George Moseley married Julia Anna Bell in Toronto in 1915.

So, she isn't the mother of the older kids on the census.

Stephanie Diana Moseley married Adam Henry Edwards on July 29, 1939 at St. Mary the Virgin Church (this is right around the corner from Northumberland Street).  She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Moseley.  One of the ushers was Robert Ferguson.

More names to check up... perhaps some of the Moseley cousins know what happened to your Annie?

FOund an obit for Aunt Julia Anna Bell Moseley.  She lived to be 104!!  She died June 13, 1983.
Toronto Star, June 15, 1983, page E7.

Julia was a nanny for some of Toronto's wealthiest families around the turn of the century.  She died at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Toronto.  She was born Julia Bell, and she came to Canada from Belfast in 1896 at age 18.  Her sister - the only relative she had here - was about to leave for South Africa.  Julia enrolled in nursing school and spent 20 years as a nanny.  In 1914, she married George Moseley, a widower with 3 children.  2 years later she and George had a child.  Within a year, her husband got polio.  She stayed home to nurse him at their Northumberland St. home.  Daughter Stephanie is quoted as saying that lots of the kids she used to look after came to visit.  George died in 1942.  Julia then moved in with her daughter (must be Stephanie Diana) on Burnhamthorpe Cres.  She went to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in 1977.  She is buried at Prospect Cemetery.

Hi again,

Short obit for Julia in the Star on Jun 14, 1983, page D15... lists her step children too (in addition to Stephanie)..  Looks like we have some middle names here - not as listed on the 1921 census!!
Merle (Mrs C Hansen), Louise (Mrs G Parks), Wallace Moseley, and Bill Atkins ??? ???  It says she has many grandchildren and great grandchildren... so there are many Canadian relatives :)
