Stuck on finding parents and birth detail on James Keegans born Tarbolton Ayrshire 1859.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Familysearch also has a baptism

Name:    James Keiggins
Gender:    Male
Birth Date:    27 May 1858
Birthplace:    KILMARNOCK,AYR,SCOTLAND
Father's Name:    Torrance Keiggins
Mother's Name:    Annie Torhynie


Now although this James was born in Kilmarnock, he has a sister Mary b. 1861 a brother Thomas (1855) and another brother John (1864) born in Tarbolton.
The father's name is also spelled as Terrence and mother's surname Techanie.

Well done Bev ...looking at the Tarbolton births I am sure you have the right parents for James Keegans
in 1861 census Torrance Keighans is b 1830
later census 1881 has him as Terence Keggins b 1830

Thanks for that.Believe this is correct family.
Found Torrance on 1851 census in Girvan plus a younger brother Philip both born Ireland.
