Hi Again

            John Mountfield in 1851 was a widow living on his own and died in 1858, if you go to this link and search for you will find he left a will which might be worth you spending £3.50 on.

Thanks Peter but I know mine died 1939. He was my great grandfather and sadly buried most of his sons and a daughter. He was a Detective Sergeant in the police - pity I haven't his knack. :D

His father is the Henry 1841 I am trying to trace back from.
