Looking for marriage info on my GGGrandfather, David Davidson (b. about 1808 in Tynan, Armagh, Ireland). He enlisted in the 11th Regiment of Foot at Glasgow 18 May 1825, and he remained in the 11th Reg. until he transferred out in 1840. While the regiment was in Nova Scotia in 1838, David's first child was born. His wife's name was Harriet Hughes (b. about 1806 in Wales). I assume that they were married while David was in Corfu awaiting the regiment's departure for Canada, but I cannot find any record of their marriage. Any help in finding that marriage record would be VERY appreciated.
