Is there any reference anywhere as to Daniel McAinsh's occupation?

Saw also this christening entry for 1837 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XBKJ-DHY and wondered whether this could be the same Daniel, father to James.

Would guess this is Daniel's brother Duncan also naming his son Daniel in 1844 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XBKJ-DCM?

Their father was a Daniel too, from the family details for the 1841 census that Chasing-fireflies has mentioned already? Below for reference:

Margaret McAnsh 55
Duncan McAnsh 30 Mason
Daniel McAnsh 35 M. Labourer (from Freecen, note: Occ: probable abbreviation for Mining)
Jamima McAnsh 10
Address: Clackmannan (Town Of)

Its a long time since I did any active work on this. You have found in the 1841 census Daniel was living at home which is consistent with Elizabeth Paterson census entry as only her and son James at a different address. Labourer is the only occupation I have for Daniel. Daniel was the common first name in the early family and there are also some spellings as McAnsh which I found very confusing at first till I found two entries which were obviously the same person with one spelt one way and one the other. There is no industry in Clackmannan. There were coal mines around and farms so I'm thinking Daniel just found work where he could. I believe that Elizabeth was a servant at the now demolished Kennet House and so the legend goes got pregnant to a son of the Bruce family and Daniel was paid to take the blame. Unless I can find him and do a DNA test I'll never know.

Following up on what Monica has said and the mention of a Mary, albeit another Mary, is it possible he moved away and got married? I have found a Marriage in 1843 with another slight variation of spelling ( quite common for it to happen) but in the Perth area: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XY34-PVZ

Also a Daniel Jnr is born to another mother in the perth area in 1940:

Of course these may not be related at all but I think worth following up on the variation of spelling if nothing more as they may have just been spelling them "as they sounded" or with variations along the way due to illiteracy possibly.
