The one living in Kennedy St could be the son of John and Isabella, surprising that I don't get him on the armed services returns as dead.  The memorial could be wrong of course!

Could he have died from wounds and his name added to the memorial at a later date?

If he died after 1925 he should be on Scotlandspeople

The son of Thomas and Annie was a furnace filler

The son of John and Isabella was a Boiler fireman (retrd) when he died 1955

I searched for his death, albeit in Lanarkshire he would need to have died before the end of 1922 I think to be included on the memorial.  It looks like his son Thomas married in Shotts in 1931, I wonder if the family had moved to Shotts

Swally, the VRs on SP are free to search on indexed results (not viewing individual images, 2 units still for that) until tomorrow. See www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=708341.0
