Hi

You could try the Electoral Registers, for the area you are researching, they should be at the local archives.

thanks.

I do not know what happened to her after 1927, none of my family knew her and her son Joseph was a horrible man, so we do not talk about him.

I have a very old, but similar post on this person existing, but it is dead.

My great grandmother was Frances Fitzpatrick, daughter of Royal Irish Constable William Fitzpatrick and Bridget McCarthy. She is one of 16 children and she was born in Fethard in County Tipperary in 1895.

She had an illegitimate son in 1927 named Joseph Francis Fitzpatrick. The name of his father is not registered on the birth certificate. Joseph was born in Cashel in County Tipperary

After 1927, I do not know where she went, if she remarried, had any more children and when and where she died

Any help would be appreciated, but I am rather pessimistic at the moment, irish records are notorious and no one knows about Frances in the family

My guess is that she got married and moved away.
Could she have gone to work in England ?

Good luck with that search

I presume you mean no-one knows of her within her siblings? and that this is a line you followed up on?

You state she was one of 16; her mother states she had had 12 children by 1911 of which 9 were still alive. At 54 it is unlikely that she had more children; where did the 16 come from? Was there a second marriage or unrecorded family?

Try to find the her baptism record, because some priests write marriage details beside the baptism record of the person. Its worth a try
