Mary Edwards 1922 need help with finding her parents all deceased

I've hit a brick wall my grandmother is Mary Edwards born in Bristol 1922 she married my grandad who was born Oliver Richard Jordan 1918 although he went by name Richard on marriage cert they got married in 1941 I tryin to find out my grandma parents my grandmother they came from Gloucestershire

If you have the marriage cert for your grandparents does it give your grandmother's father's name?

Frank Edwards and her mothers maiden name is fox but I just can't find them

Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a marriage of a Frank Edwards to a lady with the surname Fox other than one in 1926, Bury 

Perhaps your grandmother's mother was previously married and therefore married by her married name and not by her maiden name.

Your best option would be to purchase your grandmother's birth cert to enable you to progress with that line.

It doesn't help with your problem, but an Elizabeth Edwards (mother's m.n. Fox) was registered at the same time, so perhaps your grandmother was a twin.
