I'm looking for more information on a Jesse Greenhalgh born about 1846 and dies in 1903. As all i know he married an Alice Scholes 1845-1919.

Jesse was born in Lancashire his son Charles greenhalgh b1885 is my grandmothers grandfather.

According to census he was born Elton, Lancashire, the son of Hugh and Hannah.

He was born 21/3/1846, bp.27/5/1846 Bury, Lancashire, son of Hugh and Hannah.

It looks as if Jesse Greenhalgh married an Alice Scholes at Bury Lancashire in the oct/nov/dec quarter of 1868.Volume 8c,Page 560.

Lancashire BMD shows they married at Walmersley Christ Church
